Fresh and Bold: Brianna’s Exclusive Los Angeles Shoot

Model @bridale22

It’s always an exclusive treat to work with and shoot Brianna. From our very first shoot, we’ve shared so much fun and laughter. I’ll admit, the first time I worked with her, I felt a little intimidated—she carries herself with such confidence. But beneath it all, Brianna is a sweet, fun, and down-to-earth person. She’s incredibly thoughtful, always making sure I’m doing okay, and she brings a sense of care and ease to every session.

Each time we shoot, we exchange stories and experiences, which makes the sessions feel less like work and more like a creative adventure. Our most recent shoot came together under last-minute circumstances—Brianna had flown into LA for an event and, true to her spontaneous spirit, asked me at the last minute if I was available. These kinds of shoots are often my favorite because they take on a life of their own, filled with unpredictability and excitement.

Brianna, or "Bridale" as we all like to call her, always brings incredible energy and killer outfits to every shoot. This time, I wasn’t entirely sure of the approach I wanted to take, as I love working with natural light but also wanted to incorporate flash photography. Fortunately, we had a pristine white wall and large windows that offered the perfect mix of natural light and creative control.

The results were stunning and we were able to collect a great set of images featuring Brianna in a gorgeous lingerie set that showcases her elegance and boldness. Shooting with her is always a vibe, and I can’t wait for the next adventure where we get to create magic again—for ourselves and our fans.

The window shots were lit exclusively with natural light streaming through the large windows. While I wished I had brought a reflector to bounce some light back, we were already running late, so I had to make do with the available light. Despite that, the natural softness of the window light gave the shots a beautiful, airy feel.

For the wall shots, I switched things up by using my flash paired with a 42-inch octobox. This setup created an even, soft lighting effect that worked perfectly against the clean white backdrop, highlighting Brianna and the details of her outfit beautifully.

During post-production, I focused on enhancing the baby blue tones in the images to make them stand out and complement the overall aesthetic. I personally love the contrast between the natural light shots and the flash-lit ones—it’s all about your preference as a photographer and what you want to achieve with your shoot.
