First time with Sharksmilez

This is maybe the best shoot i’ve ever done. Not only did the images do so well on Instagram but we have spread out the content so much that it was able to stand the test of time. Fans have loved this set so much that I am still currently posting photos from this set.

During the shoot it was so much fun because she had brought her bf to the shoot. Usually I am not okay with this but Sharksmilez aka Dylan Autoletic insisted that he come since he was new to LA, wanted to feel safe and also told me he would just want to observe since he was a photographer himself.

As the shoot progressed I started to talk shop with her bf whose Instagram is Dreamwirez aka Rhys Davis. I found out we shot in a similar manner and he wanted to learn so I started using him as an assistant. Not only did he help me but was able to be a second eye as I worked with Dylan. Me and Rhys were having so much fun every time Dylan would go in and change that even Dylan found it hilarious.

After the studio shoot we ended up going to the beach to shoot even more. Unfortunately Dylan lives in San Francisco so I wanted to milk every minute I could before she left back home.

After the shoot was over we were all so hungry that we ended up eating so much food afterwards. Literally some of the best times. The aftermath of this shoot has also been awesome. Both Dylan and Rhys have become so close that I feel they are distant family members. The both have a kid and I could not be happier with them. So much love for Babysharkz.

Camera Tech

Canon 6D - Sigma 35mm 1.4 / Canon 70-200mm 2.8

I shot everything in natural light. This was an awesome room to shoot in. My biggest mistake was not bringing wipes. The floor was kinda dirty so I ended up having to photoshop her feet in some. Recommend having wipes and oil absorbents in your bag so you avoid this problem. Studio is at FD studios.
